I create darkly comic, provocative stories about power, intimacy, and the uneasy distance between who we are and who we perform ourselves to be. Drawn to morally complicated characters and heightened worlds, I use humor to invite audiences into uncomfortable territory.

I am an award-winning Brooklyn-based writer, director, and producer. My plays include Women Who Cut, Sit for Me, Please Let Me Save You, and Her Resting Place, with productions and presentations at AMT Theater, SoHo Playhouse, Theaterlab, the NYC Fringe Festival, Emerging Artists Theatre, and the New York Theater Festival. In 2025, I directed the premiere of Women Who Cut at the Circle Theater Festival, receiving the festival’s Best Director award. I subsequently adapted the play into The Silk Society, an immersive theatrical experience in Williamsburg.

I received the University of Chicago’s Olga and Paul Menn Prize for Playwriting and was named the Michael Collyer Memorial Fellow in Screenwriting by the Writers Guild of America, East and the Black List. My screenplays have been recognized by the Austin Film Festival, BlueCat, ScreenCraft, Creative Screenwriting, and the Atlanta Film Festival. My writing has appeared in Alma, The Brooklyn Review, The Sierra Nevada Review, and the Jewish Book Council.
